College of Menominee Nation
|
The Charter for the College of the Menominee Nation was established by Menominee
Tribal Ordinance No. 93-2 pursuant to an intiative proposed under Article VIII
of the
Menominee Constituation and Bylaws. The purpose of the College of the Menominee
Nation is "to provide quality higher education to the Menominee people such that
each
student enrolled at the College may pursue his or her individual goals and may
advance
the interests of the Menominee Nation on its reservation and in the surrounding

Kenosha Gaming Authority
|
The Charter for the Menominee Kenosha Gaming Authority was established by
Menominee
Tribal Ordinance No. 99-11. The Menominee Kenosha Gaming authority is auhtorized
and
empowered to transact business in accordance with Article XIII, Sec. 1 of the
Menominee
Constitution and Bylaws. The purpose of the Menominee Kenosha GamingAuthority is
to
"develop, construct, conduct, and manage a gaming business in Kenosha,
Wisconsin, as
authorized by tribal law, the IGRA [Indian Gaming Regulatory Act], and the
[Tribe-State
Gaming] Compact" (Ord. No. 99-11, Sec. 2).

Menominee Indian Gaming Authority
The Charter for the Menominee Indian Gaming Authority was established by
Menominee
Tribal Ordinance No. 97-06. The Menominee Indian Gaming Authority is authorized
and
empowered to transact business in accordance with Article XIII, Sec. 1 of the
Menominee
Constitution and Bylaws. The purpose of the Menominee Indian Gaming Authority is
to
"operate the Tribe's Gaming Operation, conducted within the Menominee Indian
Reservations as defined by the 1854 Treaty and the Menominee Restoration Act.
("Reservation") in order to generate revenue to fund the governmental operations
and

Menominee Fuel Station
|
The Charter for the Menominee Fuel Station is authorized and empowered to
transact
business in accordance with Articel XIII, Sec. 1 of the Menominee Constitution
and Bylaws.
The purpose of the Menominee Fuel Station is to "[p]rovide gasoline and diesel
fuel and
other realted goods and services including but not limited to soft drinks and
refreshments to
members of the Menominee Indian Tribe, members of other Tribes and other people
who
wish to utilize the services provided by the Menominee Fuel Station"
