  1. All riders shall be paying customers as outlined on the route/fee schedule.

  2. All riders are charged per stop according to the route/fee schedule. Any additional stops that are not scheduled in advance will be considered a special trip of $1.25 per stop.

  3. Passengers will be charged and billed for no shows at the discretion of the dispatcher and driver depending on the situation.

  4. If a child (any age) and parent are going to different destination, both shall pay fare. If the child (under two) is going to the same destination as the adult, then no fare is collected for that child. Children two and over must pay full fare for their ride to any destination.

  5. Children, under the age of eighteen (18), must be accompanied by an adult, unless arrangements are made by parents or consenting adult. No child under the age of five is permitted to ride alone.

  6. For Children under 5, Menominee Public Transportation shall provide a car seat.

  7. All riders shall wear a seat belt as required by Wisconsin State Law.

  8. Absolutely no smoking on all vehicles, as required by Wisconsin State Law.

  9. Menominee Public Transportation does not provide daily school bus service.

  10. Business accounts 30 days overdue will be charged 5% interest every 30 days.

  11. The driver will refuse transportation to a person who is obviously intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. After taking such an action, the driver shall notify the dispatcher of the incident.

  12. The driver reserves the right to remove any passenger that is physically or verbally abusive toward the driver or other passengers. After taking such an action, the driver shall notify the dispatcher of the incident.

  13. The driver is responsible for all uncollected fares, as well as free ride tickets not turned in.

  14. The driver will assume the cost of a double special trip ($2.50) for each rider that they forget and are sent back to pick up.

  15. Drivers will assist passengers as needed.

  16. Passengers who continue to violate any policy will be subject to suspension or permanent revocation of Transportation privileges.
