Department Overview The Insurance department is responsible for Workers Compensation, Property and Liability insurance, Employee Benefit Programs which includes Health, Dental, Prescription Drugs and Vision. We also administer the Employee Life Insurance, Short Term Disability Program and 401K Retirement Savings Plan. In addition we administer the Burial Benefit for enrolled Tribal Members as well as the Medical Relief Block Grant Program. In addition; two new programs under the umbrella of the Insurance Department are the Employee Occupational Wellness Program and Employee Advocate Program.
