The Charter for the College of the Menominee Nation was established by Menominee Tribal Ordinance No. 93-2 pursuant to an intiative proposed under Article VIII of the Menominee Constituation and Bylaws. The purpose of the College of the Menominee Nation is 'to provide quality higher education to the Menominee people such that each student enrolled at the College may pursue his or her individual goals and may advance the interests of the Menominee Nation on its reservation and in the surrounding community.'
