REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS For GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR GREEN LINE STACKER PROJECT

Menominee Tribal Enterprise General Construction Services for the Green Line Stacker Menominee Tribal Enterprise (MTE) P.O. Box 10 N3522 Cottage Ave Neopit, WI 54150 Menominee Tribal Enterprises (MTE) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to demolish remnants of an existing, condemned sawmill building, prepare the site, and construct a new, approximately 9,396 sq. ft., pre-engineered metal building for new stacker equipment in Neopit, WI for the Menominee Tribal Enterprise. The PEMB is a Butler Building and is to be considered owner provided and contractor installed. The PEMB has been designed and ordered with anticipated delivery prior to the start of construction. Owner is providing secure dry storage for the steel and panels, full documents will be provided to the awarded contractor. Stacker equipment is owner provided and contractor installed. The stacker equipment manufacturer is Gillingham-Best, Inc. Additional information can be found on the reference sheets at the end of the bid set, full documents will be provided to the awarded contractor. General contractor shall provide coordination, installation and connections of the owner provided stacker equipment, owner’s preferred vendor for stacker equipment installation is: John Kantola - johnkantola81@gmail.com, 715-889-0243. General Contractor will also be responsible to complete any and all necessary site constructions as part of the bid drawings dated March 13, 2026. This project is funded by EDA and bidders shall familiarize themselves with the requirements of the project. Proposals will be accepted via email jenniferp@mtelumber.com or mailed in to the address listed above. All Proposals submitted shall become the property of the MTE upon submission and shall be made a permanent part of the MTE’s records. Anticipated award of contract for the General Construction of the Green Line Stacker Building is approximately 3 weeks after the Proposal due date. Construction is anticipated to start in late Spring 2026.
