Fire Damages Stacker Building at Menominee Tribal Enterprises

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Fire Damages Stacker Building at Menominee Tribal Enterprises Keshena, WI-March 3, 2026 Menominee Tribal Enterprises (MTE) experienced a fire early this morning that resulted in the loss of its stacker building. The building and associated equipment are considered a total loss. In addition, some lumber inventory was damaged in the fire. Most importantly, no injuries were repo1ted. All employees are safe, and there were no reported injuries related to the incident. Production operations will be closed today as the organization assesses the damage and begins determining next steps for recovery and continuity of operations. The MTE store and main office remain open and are operating during regular business hours. MTE extends its sincere appreciation to the emergency responders for their swift action and to the community for their support and understanding during this time.
