Early Childhood Services
Early Childhood Services provides early education services and a host of other services to children and families living on the Menominee Reservation and surrounding areas. The program is in a continual stage of improvement as we strive to provide the best possible services and resources to our youngest community members and their families. Early Childhood Services does not provide these services alone and relies on community partnerships with many Tribal and non-Tribal agencies in efforts to give children a comprehensive early education experience that focuses on the whole child and their family. The programs located within our department are Head Start, Early Head Start, Day Care and Pregnant Mothers.

By working together, we can develop a child's abilities to their greatest potential so that each child may show confidence in their abilities to go forward in pursuit of a full and successful life.

Menominee Language Audio/Video Clips
Thanks to a grant we received by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, our Menominee Language and Culture Teacher, Mr. John Teller was able to create audio and video clips of words, phrases and short conversations done in the our beautiful Menominee language. Many of these words and phrases are taught by Mr. Teller to the classroom teachers who in turn use it with the children on a daily basis within all of our Early Childhood Services classrooms. Mr. Teller also does weekly direct classroom instruction to the children in all classrooms within our program.
